Job Description:
- The Import Associate handles communication with global suppliers, assists in the product development cycle, from the design and/or formulation stage to the initial order, and;
- Monitors the logistics and quality of imported goods upon regularization of shipments.
- This position offers great opportunities to learn about importation, logistics, and shipment documentation in exchange for the communication, numerical and troubleshooting skills, and high level of meticulousness required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of business, management, or commerce-related degrees
- Preferably with 3-years' experience in purchasing or merchanding
- Proficient in oral and written English communication
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to speak or understand Mandarin Chinese is an advantage
- Highly motivated and with high initiative
