Job Description
Overall development, management, coordination and technical supervision of DRR program implementation in communities, schools, and workplaces and promote collaborative relationships, and networking and advocating PRC’s DRR program to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and recommend practical DRR integration in various sector programs or interventions
- Provide policy advice and technical assistance to on-going DRR projects and other chapter initiatives
- Ensure alignment of DRR program and project to relevant government DRR laws or policies
- Lead DRR program and project annual review and lessons learnt workshops
- Liaise with relevant sectors and partners at the national level to support DRR program implementation
- Provide oversight, guidance and support in program and project finances through annual budget planning
- Ensure timely reporting of DRR project accomplishments to MEAL Program Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies or related field
- Master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management, Development Studies
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and managing program or projects related to DRR, climate change adaptation/mitigation, ecosystem management and restoration
- At least 3 years’ staff and volunteers supervisory experiences
- Working experience with local or international non-government organizations is an advantage
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
