Commodity Head  

1. Country Head Leadership, Supervision and Ownership

• Engage and drive commodity team to drive to achieve group/company directive and Budget performance,
• Monitor Inventory/asset management to ensure products and data is correct, accurate and with 5S compliance.
• Responsible to structure commodity team is executing and adhering to ensure smooth operations and statutory compliances.
• Drive commercial team to achieve significant market positioning in local country.
• Provide training and guidance to ensure all staff having right competency to perform as per Job Description.

2. Build & Maintain Customer Rapport

• Engage customers new and old regularly by: - Organising informal customer gathering, for sports, meals or other social meeting - Organising formal visits and calls to customer to share new updates or inf
• Initiate promotion proposals to commercial director

3. Payment Collection and Legal

• Provide company-prepared contract / terms and conditions for sale to customers for their signing

• Engage credit control dept for situations where client is uncooperative with payments for sales/leasing projects

4. Data Input and Market Research

• Keep record on regional market accepted standards for foundation steel (especially sheet piles) to improve self-understanding of product:
• Ensure commercial team to update and maintain information within company’s CRM “P3” database weekly,

• 5 years working experience in steel industry
• Proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel for report creation and submission
• Inter-personal skills for communicating with internal team, external suppliers and clients
