Operations within NXP consists of five seamlessly connected units, working together to deliver best-in-class industrial capabilities. The first of these units is made up of Foundries Organization (Front End) and the Assembly & Test Organization (Back End) into one efficient operational unit. The Operations organization's other four units are responsible for Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Quality, Facilities & Real Estate and Support (which includes HR Management; Strategy, R&D) on behalf of NXP.

This grouping of the units' functions allows all relevant capabilities to be effectively shared, and enables Operations to accomplish its mission of creating a clear competitive advantage for NXP as a value-added supplier of final tested products. These products are both internally and externally manufactured and cover the whole value chain from sourcing of raw materials through to the delivery of end products to our customers' shelves.
