Job Description

Tasks:

  • Develops and implements strategic creative plans and tactics that promote Nayong Pilipino’s events, upcoming attractions, and additional assignments
  • Builds strong relationships with the media and key strategic audiences and work with them on coverage opportunities to promote Nayong Pilipino
  • Develops press releases, talking points, blogs, social media posts and other written content.
  • Assists with planning, logistics and implementation of yearly publicity plans and tactics
  • Serves as liaison with internal partners ensuring all stakeholders are up-to-speed on appropriate publicity efforts.
  • Plans and produces photo & video shoots, blog content, YouTube content and other written content.
  • Tracks spending against individual tactics, ensuring projects are delivered on time and at or under budget.

  • Plans communications strategies and identifies and utilizes appropriate media to communicate the Nayong Pilipino brand
  • Communicates ideas clearly with members of the media and maintains a good working relationship with them
  • Creates content for press releases, blogs, and social media campaigns
  • Builds and sustains the NPF brand through planned publicity campaigns
  • Coordinates all public relations activities
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis
  • Has mastery of basic MS programs as well as a working knowledge of Photoshop and graphics/video editing software.

  • Reviews and checks the accuracy of information. Provides immediate feedback to on revisions needed
  • Develops and uses systems to organize and track progress of work

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-years of relevant experience
  • 8-hours of relevant training
