Senior UI/UX Designer  

Job Summary:
A Sr. UI/UX Designer is responsible for producing and overseeing digital and print creative solutions to address our marketing needs. S/he should have an in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. S/he executes marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, brochures and product packaging. Ultimately, s/he ensures that the Creative Design team promotes our brand through delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees all design projects from conception to delivery;
• Designs original pieces including but not limited to illustrations and infographics;
• Reviews junior designers’ work to ensure high quality work;
• Refines images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software;
• Applies typography techniques;
• Generates ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services;
• Increases user friendliness in digital products;
• Maintains brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects;
• Liaise with project management, marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met;
• Stays up-to-date with industry developments and tools;
• Illustrates design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps;
• Develops UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like;
• Prepares and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders;
• Identifies and troubleshoot UX problem;
• Conducts layout adjustments based on user feedback;
• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned; and
• Participates in the company activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar field
• With at least 5-year experience as a UI/UX Designer or any similar role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Expert in discussing and explaining design options
• Demonstrable experience UI/UX design software such as but not limited to:
  • Adobe XD
  • Sketch
  • Figma
• Hands-on experience with image editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
• Has online/digital portfolio of completed designs
• Strong knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction
• Advanced aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
• Has a deep understanding of how to design experiences that matter
• Able to deconstruct work in order to teach or coach others.
