Job Description
- Complete artwork templates:
- Input content to InDesign templates to create A4 Flyers and emails (eDM)
- Input content to Photoshop templates to create
- Attention to detail when interpreting information from briefs
- Assist other designers with recreating product images for the website
- Colour correction to keep all products consistent in appearance within each brand
- Products expanded in scale to fit entire 1000x1000px image size (template with guidelines supplied)
- Shadows added to products, making them look like they are sitting on a floor
- End of day report summarizing amount of work achieved and if there were any issues/ setbacks
- Weekly skype catch up on progress and work required for week ahead
Minimum Qualifications
InDesign experience:
- High competency in InDesign
- Layout: understanding layout for content
- Use of Master Pages
- Great type setting skills
- Understanding of Character and Paragraph Styles
- Knowledge of exporting files to finished art
- Ability to understand links
Photoshop experience:
- Colour correction: working with adjustment levels, colour balance and hue/saturation
- Image scaling
- Ability to create realistic and consistent shadows
- Knowledge of how to use the pen tool to outline and remove backgrounds from products
- Knowledge of blending modes/options
