Job Description
- The People Business Analyst (Sales) is responsible for supporting data aggregation, analysis, reporting and internal tool administration.
- This position works closely with key stakeholders including Sale Operations, Sales Compensation and People Solutions Business Partners to meet data-driven objectives to assess sales performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining databases, translating business information requirements, and assessing, identifying, and implementing system process improvements to meet these needs.
- In addition, will engage cross functional teams to identify and develop interfaces to key data sets, validate data integrity, and design data analytic procedures to support internal assessments and identification of issues, trends or risks.
- This position is also responsible for ensuring data accuracy across multiple applications and managing the exchange and movement of data between the systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as Statistics, Data Science, MIS, Engineering, Math, Accounting, or Finance or related and equivalent experience.
Business Experience
- Three + years of experience with data mining/analysis tools with proven ability to perform meaningful data analytics across a wide variety of data sources.
- Prior experience working in a complex Sales environment preferred.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to manage large volumes of data, compiling and organizing it for management use.
- Proficient at managing movement of data between systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues with critical attention to detail
- Data visualization experience (Hyperion, Tableau, ACL, IDEA, PowerBI, Spotfire, etc.)
- Experience with Workday and SalesForce applications.
- Capacity to manage and/or perform multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication (verbal including presentation skills, written, and interpersonal skills).
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to independently perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Self-motivated/goal-oriented contributor.
- Strong Microsoft skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of creating and managing Access or other databases.
