Project Architect  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for site operations/implementation involving architectural and related finishing works
• Coordinate architectural/finishing works of subcontractors and other trade works
• Prepares submittals and preparation of shop drawings, Request for Information (RFI) and other related field drawing and documents.
• Monitors work progress, schedules, subcontractors’ accomplishment and materials deliveries
• Brainstorm project ideas and assist in reviewing project proposals.
• Completes and file paperwork involved in the design process.
• Creates proposals and completes construction paperwork for buildings.
• Ensures all required documents and legal paperwork are submitted before a construction process is started.
• Communicates with contractors and monitor the progress of a project as needed.
• Coordinates the details of an architectural project with the whole design team.
• Assists in developing and/or coordinating development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for project has been obtained.
• Handles bid process.
• Reviews shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and notifies Architect of discrepancies.
• Provides support to Architects and management staff.
• Visit supplier (nationwide) on a regular basis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance or Business Administration

• Has background/ extensive knowledge on Architecture, Construction

• Preferably 1-3 years experience as an Project Manager, or other construction related project management
• Good at multi-tasking, experience with handling multiple projects at the same time
