Job Description
- Product Inspection: Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Testing and Analysis: Perform various tests and analyses, including but not limited to, hardness tests, tensile tests, dimensional measurements, and visual inspections using specialized equipment and tools.
- Documentation: Accurately document inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards in inspection reports, quality records, and electronic databases.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures, work instructions, and quality management systems to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns, conduct supplier audits, and ensure adherence to quality specifications and standards.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to production personnel regarding quality requirements, inspection techniques, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing inspection activities and ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to resolve quality-related issues and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4year course.
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection methods, and statistical analysis tools.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Office applications and electronic quality management systems.
