Job Description
MWC Business Continuity Plans
- Provides strategic leadership and subject matter expertise across all functions of the organization to set business continuity strategy aligned with company goals to drive performance and deliverables.
- Ensure business continuity plans are integrated and risk-based; provides advice to business units on continuity processes and plans.
- Design and outline BCP goals, objectives and scope for Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans
Testing and exercise of all BCPs
- Leads the implementation and alignment of company protocols with the Local Government Units (protocols for Disaster Reduction and Risk Mitigation.)
- Recommends suitable and required resources to ensure disaster preparedness, response and recovery of the company when an event occur
- Identifies capacity building requirements of the MWPV Employees and Emergency Response Team (ERT) -
- Acts as over-all lead to the MWPV ERT
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or relevant discipline
- Solid experience and expertise in Business Continuity Management; A certified Business Continuity Practitioner.
- Strong network in the local and national government.

Building on its success in the East Zone of Metro Manila, Manila Water is pursuing strategic partnerships in order to leverage its position in the markets covered by key metropolitan areas in the Philippines. Manila Water Philippine Ventures (MWPV) was designated as the vehicle for expansion within the Philippines. With focus on geographic expansion, its specific mandate is to look for new acquisitions and partnerships across the country while leveraging on the track record set by the existing subsidiary businesses in Boracay, Cebu, Clark and Laguna.
Currently under MWPV are LagunaAAA Water Corporation (“Laguna Water”), Boracay Island Water Company (“Boracay Water”), Clark Water Corporation (“Clark Water”), Manila Water Consortium, Inc. (“MW Consortium”), and Estate Water, an operating division under MWPV which operates and manages the water systems of townships developed by Ayala Land, Inc. A subsidiary of MW Consortium is Cebu Manila Water Development, Inc. (“Cebu Water”) that provides bulk water in the province of Cebu. The Group has other new projects in its portfolio including the Zamboanga City performance-based non-revenue water reduction project under Zamboanga Water Company, Inc. (“Zamboanga Water”) and the Tagum City bulk water supply project under Tagum Water Company, Inc. (“Tagum Water”), among others.
