Is the role right for you?

We are looking for an Influencer Relations and Advocacy Specialist to own the vision, strategy and execution for the next phase of our influencer program. In this role, you'll identify new ways to drive business value and brand awareness through strategic partnership with influencers covering the HR and B2B tech landscape. You'll partner closely with department leads to ensure we have a cohesive and effective influencer strategy that allows us to act on and up-level strategic business initiatives.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Assist in scaling influencer partnerships that drive rapid growth and brand awareness for M2.0 Communications, its mission, and its products.
  • Manage and expand a robust influencer database tracker to ensure partners are on brand and delivering consistent and relevant messages.
  • Maintain close and professional communications with other teams to ensure that new and ongoing projects are well-understood and that cross-team opportunities for influencer marketing are realized.
  • Process invoicing/billing process for all influencer partnerships and ensure that payments are accomplished based on the agreed-upon timeline between the agency and the influencer/s.
  • Ensure that all phases of internal influencer management processes such as sourcing, account onboarding, campaign briefing, and product seeding are accomplished within the required timeline of the project.
  • Analyze the voice of the influencers and their followers to the communication and marketing teams to align the marketing initiatives to specific audiences.
  • Stay on top of competitor influencer programs industry trends, relevant campaigns, industry experts, competitors, target audiences and digital media advancements in this space.
  • Create thorough influencer recap reports that include complete measurements of all campaigns to evaluate business growth and identify future opportunities.
  • Measure progress and KPIs for employee advocacy and influencer relations program.
  • Leverage influencer relationships to expand the brand’s presence on social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Tik Tok, while identifying new partnership opportunities and channels.

What kind of support can I expect?

The Influencer Relations Specialist involves active coordination and collaboration with the leaders of M2.0 Communications and 7Gen Inc. With that, she/he will be reporting directly to the Influencer Relations Manager and receiving support from the Client Success Director and the Associate Client Success Director of M2.0 Communications. She/he will also be working alongside the Client Success Managers, Executives, and the Media Relations team.

Minimum Qualifications

Are you right for the role?

To be successful in this role, you are expected to exhibit both technical skills and personal qualities that align with M2.0’s values and culture. The ideal M2.0 candidate must have:

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role (communications/public relations/influencer & analyst relations experience in the HR/tech industry)
  • Preexisting relationships with influencers or stakeholders are a huge plus
  • Ability to hit the ground running without the need to be coached or developed extensively; can challenge the status quo and think of new ways to do things
  • Proficiency in using influencer social tools for discovery, reporting, and CRM, such as Upfluence and/or Affable
  • Experience and strong understanding of agile approaches to social media, influencer relations, and evolving trends
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team environment
