Job Description
General Role
• Identify new business opportunities for the company
• Implement and execute sales strategies
• Customer Service Officer function as needed (back up)
• Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Main Activities
• Generates leads
• Cold calling
• Email marketing
• Sending out of business proposals approved and signed by the company Directors
• Acquiring of new accounts/clients
• Builds and maintains business rapport with new acquired account
• Provide high quality service delivery and adherence to standard operational procedures
• Respond to client bookings and inquires professionally and efficiently
• Scheduling and allocating fleet in a timely manner with the most cost effective solution
• Data entry and maintenance of customer information into the CRM
• Answering telephones and coordinating bookings of incoming jobs professionally and efficiently
• Routing calls to appropriate resources
• Follow up customer calls where necessary
• Complete call logs
• Produce call reports
• Communicate effectively in order to liaise with drivers and clients.
• Dispatch Operations
• Control, direct and coordinate fleet movements
• Attend to customer and other operational staff queries
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in cooperation with Administration Manager
• Provide customers with product and service information and non-corporate account quotes for service
• Process orders, forms and applications
• Identify and escalate priority issues to Senior Management
• Perform other general administrative duties as required
• Build customer’s interest in the services offered by the company
• Provide personalised customer service of the highest level
Minimum Qualifications
- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Knowledge of and experience in CRM, Microsoft Office Professional Suite of Products
• Knowledge of call centre telephony and technology
• 2 years or more experience in a call centre environment
• Customer service experience
• Proficient data entry/keyboard skills
• Knowledge of administration and clerical processes
• Knowledge of sales principles and methods
• Sales experience
Must provide evidence of the following competencies
• Excellent command of the English language in both verbal and written
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Sound time management and organisational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer skills, email and document filing systems
• Able to efficiently handle data and paperwork and process the same accurately & quickly;
• Great People Skills
• Ability to comprehend, capture as well as interpret basic customer information
• Sound judgmental powers; ability to manage difficult customer situations, to respond promptly to the needs of the customer, solicit feedback to improve service
