School Librarian for Higher Education  

• Developing the LAIC’s library system and collection
• Building of the library collection
• Working closely with all members of the Library Team and other personnel of the School
• Reference Service: Provides library orientation to both the faculty and the students regarding the policies, procedures, rules and regulations and physical orientation of the library
• Cataloging: Organizes new and old materials quickly, efficiently and accurately
• Weeding: Deselects and takes out books that are worn out, no longer updated, and with multiple copies
• Floor Plan: Arranges the physical set up of the library

Experience/Qualifications
● At least a Master’s degree in Library Science or related degrees
● With valid PRC license in Library Science
● At least 3 years teaching or working in Higher Education Institution library system
● Willing to work on a part-time basis
● Willing to have flexible working hours

Skills (including technology)
● Good oral and written communication skills
● Excellent collaborating, coordinating and organizing skills
● Good computer skills: experience with Microsoft Office/G Suite/IOS/Zoom
