Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced accounting & finance manager for Syaria Insurance to join our team. As an accounting & finance manager for Syaria Insurance, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health and reporting functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in finance and accounting, a keen eye for detail, and a strategic mindset to contribute to the continued success of Kitabisa Insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for financial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, keeping abreast of changes in accounting regulations that may impact the company.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring a smooth audit process.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize financial performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial and accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring banking activities, optimizing liquidity, and managing relationships with financial institutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance and Accounting Manager in the insurance industry.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in managing external audits and interacting with auditors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
