Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Book/accounts keeping in Manila and filing of all returns
- Maintenance of Xero General Ledger and all functions relating to the business
- Bank reconciliation
- Daily entry of key financial transactions into Xero
- Month end close- processing of general journals, accruals, standing journals, and general ledger adjustments
- Completion of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Timely remittance and accurate reporting of all government contributions and loan payments (SSS, HDMF, Philhealth)
Minimum Qualifications
Qualification/s:
- Previous experience as a Book Keeper
- To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience within a similar role
- Experience with XERO Account system
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong Proficiency with EXCEL is a must
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication, self-management and organisational skills
- Flexibility regarding duties with a 'can do' attitude
- Problem solving skills / solutions focused
- Self-motivated and driven
