Job Description
- Quality Software Senior Engineer to assess quality work product through manual testing and moving forward with the use of market automation tools.
- Culture: Instill a group culture that values testing
- Promote and govern best test design techniques and practices; manage test environments, test data, and releases into production
- Recommend direction and provide when needed, leadership to both manual and automated testing teams
- Participate and get in communicating with software engineers and with the management when needed, to evaluate risks and techniques for automated and manual testing
- Participate and contribute to maintaining and improving product quality by completing compliance and surveillance audits
Minimum Qualifications
- Software Quality Assurance Professional with 5+ years’ experience
- Must have a keen eye for detail, with proficient communication skills.
- Can work in a diverse software development set-up.
- In-depth experience in developing effective test documents such as: test strategy, test plans, test cases, and scripts. Maturity in creating test metrics and has experience in analyzing defect triage and defect rate.
- In-depth experience in peer review, QA methodology, and test management.
- Can work with cross-functional (quality and development) teams.
- Has experience in automation testing (preferable but not required)
- Has programming experience/ willing to learn programming language for future automation requirement.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Solid experience in handling a group of software QA engineers.
- Profound experience in process improvement / continuous improvement.
- Has the ability to train QA team members for QA processes/ methodologies to align with current business needs.
- Proficiency in developing automated unit and integration tests with continuous integration
- Ability to act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality with experience in negotiations, issue resolution, and risk management
