Job Description
- Experience of making judgments on matters of greater editorial and ability to prioritize and interpret the key stories of the day
- Overseeing and editing daily business news article. Work closely with reporters to respond of any issues that arise and ensure news deadlines are met
- Collaborate with Editor in Chief to determine and prioritize Business or Economy content and topics
Minimum Qualifications
- At least have 5 years of experience as a news editor at the online media company, especially in Business / Economic Desk
- Strong journalism background with proven writing and news editing skills, exceptional organizational skills and experience managing news reporters
- Attention to detail, combined with an appreciation of the 'bigger picture'
- Have good communication and leadership skills
- Professional fluency in English would be preferred (oral & written)
