Job Description
- Provide application support to ensure availability and reliability of the ETL solutions;
- Participate in monitoring of Enterprise server performance and stability, and perform required support and maintenance to improve where necessary;
- Provide technical support (including upgrades and patching) of existing Data Warehouse ETL environment, including Oracle , Essbase, and MSAS Prod environments;
- Complement support analysts in research, evaluation, and resolution of issues, understanding application design, software architecture, and set up areas, and maintaining development, and communication standards;
- Engage in customer service to the end-users and to assist and correct issues related to supported applications and business flows;
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or any related course;
- Advanced knowledge of ETL development tools including Data Integrator or Informatica is a must;
- Database knowledge in Oracle 8/9I, including SQL, performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning;
- Programming skills in Perl, shell scripting;
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts (Kimball, Inmon, etc.);
- Exposure to data quality tools (Firstlogic preferred);
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project);
- Able to communicate technical solutions to front-end business customers;
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written;
- Excellent organizational and data analysis skills with attention to details;
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills;
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to learn rapidly and to apply formal training to new software environments;
