Business Development Officer  

Responsibilities

1. Support the Country Manager in developing and implementing BD strategies to achieve short and long term goals
2. Own revenue targets and develop strategies to ensure targets are met
3. Prospect, set and attend client meetings
4. Design and negotiate deal terms and execution of deal closing
5. Work as the main point of contact for clients and maintain excellent working relationship with partners
6. Explore new revenue-generating opportunities and increasing value to existing and new customers

We are looking for a Business Development Officer with a compelling personality and relentless drive to close and acquire new business opportunities for the company.

• Experience and background in Worker Benefits, Insurance, and/or Financial Services.
• A hustler with a track record of hitting sales targets that led to organisational growth
• Demonstrated strategic orientation and tactical business sense
• Experience in launching new products or new businesses
• Strong planning and execution skills: able to multi-task and manage several projects or clients concurrently with minimum supervision
• Communications Skills: persuasive and convincing both in oral and written
• Problem solving skills: able to resolve issues independently and communicate solutions effectively
• Preferably highly analytical to provide good sales direction for the country
