General Accounting Staff  

Transaction Recording:

Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly into the accounting system.

Maintain detailed records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and other financial transactions.

Verify and reconcile transactional data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and other accounts on a regular basis.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues identified during the reconciliation process.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Generate financial reports and analysis as requested by management or regulatory authorities.

Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.

Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.

Compliance and Audit Support:

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies.

Assist in internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations as needed.

Implement recommendations from audit findings to strengthen internal controls.

Financial Analysis:

Assist in financial analysis activities, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and budget vs. actual comparisons.

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making processes.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and systems.

Participate in the implementation of new accounting software or tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Previous experience in accounting or finance role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Amenable to work onsite in LIIP, Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna
