Accounting Manager  

Duties and Responsibilities:

Verification and Signing of the Company Documents: Verifies and signs accounting documents to ensure proper processing, control and authorization

• Cheques
• Purchase Orders
• Petty Cash
• Inventory Reports
• Purchase Requisitions
• Contract Agreements

Ensures that all legal, contractual and licensing documents comply with legal requirements

• Application/Renewal of licenses
• Supplier’s Accreditation
• Filling of Tax Returns

Verification of Payroll Documents

• Verifies HR Timekeeping of both Integral and Casual Employees vs. Accounting Records
• Submits approved Timekeeping to Payroll Master

Tax Reporting and Planning

• Complies with tax authority regulations and laws
• Updates staff on tax laws and requirements
• Prepares and approves submission of tax returns on time
• Checks accuracy of tax payments made
• Reviews tax planning opportunities to minimize taxes
• Constantly reviews tax position and consults adviser on any tax improvement/planning opportunities

Job Specifications:

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable

Experience : At least 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager with experience in tax reporting and planning and with cross exposure to Operations is an advantage

Qualifications :

• Should have a high command on MS Office
• Knowledge of back office or accounting systems/software
• Excellent financial/business decision making skills
• Strong Financial Knowledge
• Analytical Skills
• Attention to details and very well organized
