Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conceptualizes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates competency-based technical training curriculum, including technical training, in-house certification, qualification programs, continuing technical skills upgrading programs, cadetship programs, vendor training requirements, and other development programs (cross training, etc.), to enhance employees' technical competencies in meeting employees’ current as well as future job responsibilities.
- Designs and develop training needs analysis (TNA) tools, and implements the same to properly identify training requirements of the work units and ensure that technical training programs running are customized to address the specific learning needs of the target participants.
- Designs different levels of training evaluation tools, and utilizes the same to ensure thorough measurement/effectiveness of training results and aligns training follow-through activities to maximize the benefits of the training and development programs and its application in the workplace.
- Assists in the conceptualization and development of technical competency structure / matrix for technical positions to ensure that a set of training courses and modules established for each job are aligned to the company’s business priorities and are responsive to the job requirements, identified gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Supports in the development of a career path per job category indicating clear upward movement in the corporate ladder; and for each position, identifying competencies and skills requirements.
- Handles implementation of cadetship programs as necessary for ready / qualified pool of manpower needed by the organization based on natural attrition, expansion and other organizational initiatives which necessitates hiring.
- Works closely with the Department Head for other training and organizational development-related projects and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Mass Communications, Psychology or equivalent.
- At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): SAP, Microsoft Office, Communication
- Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Training & Development or equivalent.
