Position Summary:
The Procurement Data Analyst will be supporting the Dexcom Procurement and Supplier Management department and responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the quality of data used for both internal and external KPI’s such as spend analytics, contract data, supplier performance, and key personnel metrics. The Procurement Data Analyst will work closely with the global category managers for both direct and indirect materials, regional buyers, and contract manufacturing managers to determine appropriate metrics and reporting mechanisms for each area.

Where you come in:

General

• Create informative and actionable reports that highlight relevant business process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Analyze procurement data – highlighting risks and reporting, draw insights/stories for decision-makers.
• Presentation of data to procurement/supply chain team and wider stakeholder network
• Look to improve processes and data management within the space of procurement analytics
• Monitor data quality, cleaning data, fixing issues that may arise, and implementing data quality improvement plans
• Track and compile spend data for Buyers, Managers and Director and report overall spend for Strategic Sourcing functions
• Track and compile monthly Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis and cost savings
• Ensure pricing systems are accurate by facilitating the update process and implementation of price changes
• Monitor contract terms, expirations, and adherence to specific terms
• Develop, implement, and maintain supplier performance scorecard. Continued tracking and connection of supplier performance versus business needs.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and objective. Must be able to analyze data quickly and ascertain a plan of action based on the data.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills – Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Graphs, Charts, Formulas, etc
• Intermediate SmartSheets skills
• Intermediate to advanced Tableau skills
• Knowledge and understanding of procurement and supply chain issues/considerations
• Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
