Key Responsibilities:
- Knowing the ins and outs of the major sales channels to fuel growth, help troubleshoot issues and create opportunities that might not have otherwise surfaced.
- Working with partner advertising agencies to ensure advertising campaigns are meeting the ROAS targets and are contributing incremental sales.
- Full accountability and ownership of P&L of different sales channels.
- Oversee digital assortment and inventory management.
- Deliver growth and expansion against the digital business plan, ensuring a consistent ecommerce and brand presence across marketplaces.
- Achieve sales and margin targets by implementing technical and non-technical strategies and initiatives that will drive traffic, new customer acquisition, conversion, retention, revenue, and profitability.
- Working closely with various channels to identify any upcoming initiatives or opportunities.
- Own promotions planning and marketplace merchandising; ensure sales and gross margin maximization and user experience optimization based upon an understanding of the end-to-end path to purchase.
- Oversee day to day operations, seasonal product launch, campaign execution, content management, order fulfilment, logistics and post-sales customer services.
- Conduct rigorous competitive benchmarking, stay on top of trends in ecommerce and interpret consumer behaviour.
- Identify opportunities and initiate improvements with cross-function teams and business partners in translation, content management, business processes, UX/UI, CRM, Analytics, and Insights generation.
- Lead and establish best-in-class standard operating procedures to elevate the digital business.
- Liaise with the customer support team and guide them through any operational challenges.

The objective of the role is to grow the global consumer business in new and all existing sales channels across various regions.

This is a very diverse and hands on role that provides ample learning opportunities and will allow the right candidates to focus on various aspects of e-commerce, digital marketing and operations optimization while working with the biggest e-commerce platforms and retail channels across the globe.
Qualifications:
- Master or Bachelor’s in Business, E-commerce, Marketing, or related field. Can be exempted if relevant experience in related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in B2C sales, E-commerce, and Project Management.
- Experience with E-commerce marketplaces and retail channels such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy etc. is a definite advantage.
- Experience with launching and scaling new ecommerce and retail channels is an advantage.
- Analytical and able to drive analysis based on facts and performance data to deliver improvements. Microsoft Excel proficiency is required.
- Experience in compiling operational reports and analysing trends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills – proven ability to build and expand relationships (internal / external).
- Creative, internet-obsessed, technologically savvy, and intellectually curious to learn new skills to support the team.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
