Data Management Analyst | Financial Services | Remote

We're seeking a Data Management Analyst to help us utilize our database effectively, improving both the reader's experience and our internal processes.

This role is fully remote. Our ideal candidate has a keen understanding of U.S. financial services, coupled with a deep appreciation for American culture, word usage, and style.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize SQL for intricate data queries, analysis, and data extraction needs.
• Act as the primary liaison for data needs across various teams including web development, content writing, marketing, UX, and graphics.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data processes, structures, and standard operating procedures.
• Work with the content team to ensure effective integration of data into articles.
• Provide training and support to other internal team members on data-related tasks and tools.
• Participate in workshops and brainstorming sessions to identify new ways data can be leveraged.
• Initiate and drive projects that improve data efficiency, reliability, and utility.
• Collaborate with the content team to deliver data insights that can guide and enrich content creation.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting periodic audits and clean-up exercises.
• Suggest and implement database structural improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Research and recommend new tools or software that can enhance the company's data management capabilities.
• Leverage the understanding of internal data and external data sources to drive programmatic SEO growth strategies.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists to identify data-driven opportunities for content creation, optimization, and backlinking strategies.
• Analyze search data and trends to recommend areas of focus for the content team, aimed at organic traffic growth.
• Collaborate with the development team to optimize data retrieval and presentation for our readers.
• Translate complex data needs of the marketing team into actionable data extraction requirements.
• Assist UX designers by providing data-driven insights to refine user journeys and experiences.
• Work alongside the graphics team to visualize complex data points for easier reader comprehension.
• Generate regular data reports for management, focusing on highlighting trends, anomalies, and insights that can drive decision-making.
• Assist in automating tasks using data-driven methodologies, reducing manual intervention and optimizing efficiency.

Working Arrangements:

• Fully remote with flexibility in working hours.
• Preferred 2 hours daily overlap with USA working hours.
• Fast and reliable internet connection is essential.

• At least 3 years of experience in data management, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiar with database structures and optimization.
• Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in a content-driven or publishing company will be an advantage.
