Job Description
- Accountable for the development and coordination of the Company’s internal auditing activities.
- Develop and implement internal auditing policies, procedures, and program.
- Review of company processes and procedures.
- Conduct walkthroughs and documentation of different functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations, and adequacy of the system of control to achieve established objectives.
- Supervise or conduct independent audits of company records and activities, departmental output, and prepare varied analyses of the departments, and plants for management.
- Supervise, conduct, and report on the testing and adequacy of the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting, and operations.
- Investigate and determine causes of irregularities, and errors.
- Recommend corrective action and suggest improvement.
- Advise top management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on audit, and internal control matters.
- Manage subordinate employees in the auditing department with responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performances; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Perform other assignments as may be delegated by the President and Audit Committee.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to understand and advise on the Financial implications of the organization’s business agenda
- Ability to build strong working relationships with Top, Senior and line management
- Ability to influence and persuade management
- Ability to drive organizational change efficiently and effectively from a financial standpoint
- Ability to analyze and synthesize MI to monitor service delivery and understand key issues
- Knowledge of current Finance and Taxation best practice and competitor behavior (where relevant)
- Knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements
- Knowledge and practical experience of Finance procedures, processes and practices
- Ability to lead a team to deliver high quality Finance services
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas, proposals, implications etc

Concrete Masters, Inc. engaged in ready mix concrete supply and heavy equipment trading through its subsidiary, Icon Equipment.
CMI was originally established in 1996 as a major partner in building a new metropolis: the Fort Bonifacio Global City. Four months after the property sites were turned over to CMI, the company established a turnkey pre-mixed concrete company.
CMI established its heavy equipment trading division in 2008. In 2013, Concrete Masters, Inc. created ICON Equipment as a fully owned subsidiary to handle all trading, rental and service operations.
CMI has a plant in Taguig. The plant is installed with an automated concrete batching plant, concrete mixer trucks and all the necessary equipment to complete operations.
