Job Description

Assists the Culinary department manager and assistant manager in these functions:

  • Recipe development highlighting company products for marketing and trade promotion, client ideation, sales pitches and product trainings or demonstration.
  • Food preparation for various BU brand or corporate activities for internal and external parties. These include product cutting and evaluation, brand and corporate functions and product sampling or sample submission for sales and marketing promotion.
  • Culinary demonstration or presentation in product ideations, sales pitches, brand events, food exposition or shows and product training - virtual and face to face.
  • Prepares post-event or activity report or evalutation, as needed.
  • Supervision of brand and corporate activities with product preparation by third parties such as caterers and appointed agencies.
  • Menu planning based on Business Unit Marketing, Global Brands, Foodservice and Domestic Sales requirement.
  • Foodstyling for photo and video shoots for digital media content, multi-media brand advertisments (print, video), packaging and label and other marketing requirements.
  • Handle recipe database of various company products.
  • Administrative duties such as attendance reporting, supplies requisition, and other finance-related concerns of the department.
  • Implement and practice food safety standards especially during kitchen operations.
  • Maintain order of the department for safe working environment including covid prevention measures.

Minimum Qualifications

Place of Assignment: Ortigas Center, Pasig City (Open for candidate who's willing to rellocate)
Job Level: Sr. Entry Level to Supervisory; Open to Fresh Graduates

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Restaurant or Hospitality Industry Management, or any related course. Open to candidates with non-culinary related Bachelor's Degree but with diploma/certification in any culinary or pastry arts course
  • With at least a hands-on experience in culinary kitchen, food shows, and other related experience in handling test kitchen
  • Adept in standard food safety practices applicable to culinary, kitchen and foodservice operations
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills; intermidiate to advance cooking, baking, recipe analysis and development skills; willing to do field work from time-to-time
  • Fresh graduates with strong leadership qualities are encouraged to apply
