The Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) is the industry association representing the contact center industry in the Philippines. It counts as its members some 90 contact center companies in the Philippines with over 700,000 employees. These member companies include top-tier companies like: Accenture, Convergys, Teleperformance, among others. Established in 2001, CCAP has been in the forefront of promoting the Philippines as the destination of choice for voice-BPO sector. CCAP has done this through participating in trade missions abroad and pushing for the IT-BPO agenda of government. It was instrumental in attracting numerous of locators in the country and continues to be the first stop for any foreign based companies or investors wishing to set up shop in the Philippines. In 2011, CCAP’s efforts bore fruit when the Philippines was recognized as the number one provider of call center services, overtaking India. Now on its 15th year, CCAP is leading the way for the Philippines to become the center of excellent customer experience in the contact center space.
