Job Description
The Purchasing assistant role is to assist the Purchasing Manager in the order process of merchandise goods, follow through with suppliers on shipment, delivery, and tracks its inventory level. The position also monitors the stores’ sales trends in order to provide the right allocation of merchandise at the right store at the right time.
- Purchasing: Ordering & delivery schedule of merchandise by vendor or supplier.
- Inventory: Assess inventory level and Pullout tracking.
- Merchandise Planning.
- New Product and Promotion Memo.
- Regularly communicates with Sales Demos/ promos regarding stock requests.
- Negotiates and have a good relationship with Suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knows how to use Microsoft Office;
- At least 1 year experience the same field;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
