  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in any field;
  • Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • At least 1-year working experience in the related field is required for this position;
  • Good internet research skills;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with various functions and levels of management;
  • Strong teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations;
  • 6-month contract with possible extension;
  • Can start ASAP.
Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will perform office support activities for the IT team in Manila and may also be extended to other IT teams in the APAC region. This position reports to the Asia IT Manager. Duties may include;

  • Fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing.
  • Initiate materials or services requisition in the company’s procurement system.
  • Coordinate the requisition process until successful receipt and payment request processing. Manage and resolve any issues that may hinder procurement.
  • Coordinate with vendors to support satisfactory receipt of materials and services.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team, Buyers, and Account Payables team to support the procurement process.
  • Facilitate the logistics of visitors and guests to the site. Assist as well in the coordination of meeting agenda or visit activities.
  • Support the Finance team in terms of verification tasks, approval solicitation, and paper filing. All to ensure the smooth flow of administrative tasks for regulatory and corporate compliance in financial regulations or policies.
  • Assist in communications that needs broadcasting.
  • Assist in the logistics of meetings or other types of gatherings.
  • Work with the HR team for administrative matters relating to IT resources.
  • Perform tasks that may need going out of the office such as message/parcel delivery and vendor or bank payments.
  • Can function as Receptionist if needed.
