Job Description

The Senior Researcher shall ensure and maintain high-quality output delivery of project reports by providing training and support to the researchers, and coordinating with PH- and US-based management in the researching of construction projects, placing a focus on project updates and reviews, and staff performance and culture management. This position is an in-office night-shift role.

Senior Researcher Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily achievement of KPIs for each researcher by reviewing activity regularly, and managing and directing specific aspects of performance and improvement areas
  • Provide first-level feedback to staff (one-on-one, team, and performance appraisals)
  • Facilitate productive team meetings and trainings regularly and as needed
  • Manage and improve staff performance via coaching and mentoring
  • Ensure the Department delivers high-quality standards with timely and accurate information via legitimate sources (confirmed information from key decision makers and legitimate and permitted sources among others)
  • Thorough oversight and involvement with PH and US managers and staff
  • Liaises with US Research Managers, and directly reports to PH-US Research Manager
  • Ad hoc research management support as needed

Daily Research Responsibilities:

  • Add individual updates (secondary and primary) which includes making phone calls to get construction updates from project contacts within the American building and construction industry
  • Review new projects and updates created by the team for timely and accurate information based on assigned source, extra internet research, and outbound calls to contacts
  • Validate leads generated from third-party service and/or team members to ensure zero or low number of invalids and duplicates are submitted
  • Ensure researchers use legitimate, reliable, and permitted sources of information
  • Participate in regular and random research audit

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in BPO set-up/ customer service environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in any field
  • Experience working nightshift in Supervisory position is an advantage but not required
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
  • Great interpersonal skills to engage with teams and stakeholders effectively
  • Able to work in night shift (10pm – 7am)
  • Able to work onsite in Makati City
