The Tourism Department Intern at Baybayin Hub will support our dedicated team in
various aspects of tourism operations and customer service. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to the tourism industry, allowing interns to develop valuable skills and knowledge while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the intricacies of the tourism sector.
Daily Responsibilities
● Assist with the planning and coordination of travel itineraries, including researching destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
● Support the booking process by liaising with hotels, airlines, and other travel partners to secure reservations and confirmations.
● Contribute to the creation of engaging travel materials, such as brochures, itineraries, and promotional content.
● Assist with customer inquiries and provide exceptional service by addressing their travel-related questions and concerns.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute tourism promotion campaigns across various channels.
● Conduct market research to identify emerging travel trends and gather information on competitors' offerings.
● Participate in the organization and execution of events, such as travel expos, fairs, and familiarization trips.
● Assist in maintaining accurate records and databases related to travel bookings, client profiles, and supplier information.
● Collaborate with team members on special projects, such as developing new tour packages or enhancing existing offerings.
● Stay updated on industry regulations, travel advisories, and destination-specific information to ensure compliance and provide informed recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be born in the Philippines and has residency for more than 5 years

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

Genuine interest in the tourism industry and a passion for travel.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing assigned responsibilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
