Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, fixed assets, general ledger and other duties as assigned
- Assist with monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Maintain regular contact and build solid working relationships with various client groups to ensure a high level of customer service and work product
- Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience with standard software solutions preferred, for example: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Fast learner with high degree of professional curiosity and desire to learn
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Enjoy a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct exposure to accounting operation duties like AP, AR, and cash reconciliations
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology, or professional services environment
