For over two decades, the Asian Cable Communications, Inc. (ACCION) has been connecting Filipino audiences to the world by distributing international cable television channels in the country through local cable operators.
A pioneer in cable distribution, it was established in 1993 during the infancy of the new deregulated cable television industry in the Philippines.
ACCION was founded by a group of innovative cable operators led by former Sen. Ramon B. Magsaysay, Jr., considered the “Father of Philippine Cable Television”, to address the industry’s concerns on channel acquisitions.
The company has been highly successful in its efforts to protect and ensure the business interests of the networks it represents. It has also become one of the most trusted sources of quality cable channels in the country.
