The Knowledge Manager for Capability Building provides assistance to the Knowledge Lead in all arms of content, process and framework development needs of Acumen’s consulting and capability building projects. This role is accountable for all knowledge capture for all projects of Acumen.
The essential tasks and activities are:
- Lead the development of all base modules or training materials allowing the operations team to deliver RVA (Relevant, Value-Adding, Actionable) results. Specific tasks include:
- Leading the development of module outlines based on the Needs Assessment from the project team
- Developing content for all Marketing Excellence Program training modules under the supervision of the Knowledge Lead
- Leading knowledge capture including capturing knowledge ‘gained’ from live projects and dissemination of project related processes with the aim of consolidation, standardization, quality control and optimization in coordination with the operations team
2. Contribute to the Maintenance of Acumen’s expert imagery by:
- Assisting in the planning and participating in the development of Acumen’s thought leadership materials
- Continuously developing the library of examples and case studies per relevant industry that can be used for capability building/training by the project team
- Actively identifying new areas for training as well as potential partners for content development and enhancement
3. Assist in the development of the Acumen team by:
- Providing input to the Learning and Development operations team’s internal capability building programs related to technical skills under the supervision of the Knowledge Lead
- Serving as a faculty or subject matter expert for selected modules
Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience in any Learning & Development (L&D) related role
- Has understanding of the different marketing concepts and principles and is aware of the relationship between consumer value and business value
- Has the ability to apply the L&D framework and principles in different L&D situations and requirements
- Can quickly understand and put together complicated concepts in a way that other people can easily understand
- Has passion for rapid and continuous learning, discovery and growth
