EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Management or equivalent;
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in retail/drugstore;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Job Description
  • General Store Administration
    • Ensures store is open during designated hours
    • Maintains adequate and appropriate staff
    • Adheres to contract agreement
    • Maintains the store premise in a safe, secure manner
    • Implements high standard of cleanliness and tidiness of the premise at all times
    • Complies with all laws, rules, regulations and policies
    • Performs HRD functions associated to supervision of sales personnel, including monitoring of offenses, timekeeping and preparation of evaluations.
    • Completes assignments as directed by the upper management
    • Maintains open communication with District Manager and other concerned departments like Warehouse, promotions, Accounting HR etc.
  • Sales
    • Achieves sales goals
    • Promotes suggestive selling though training, example and reinforcement
    • Adheres to pricing policies and maintains an accurate and updated master list
  • Profitability
    • Operates the store within the budget limits
    • Attains margin goals
    • Controls expenses
    • Works diligently to maintain low levels of employee turnover
  • Marketing Strategy
    • Recommends, organizes and coordinates promotional strategies that can help boost the sales, particularly generics in the stores
    • Supports and carries out Promotion Department’s initiatives on store promotional and marketing programs
    • Assists and supervises proper promotion of the store to the nearby communities, i.e., by establishing and nurturing proper contacts with the nearby entities such as barangay hall, barangay health centers, homeowners associations, Cooperatives, tricycle/pedicab, jeep, Senior Citizens Association, Diabetic Clubs, civic and religious organizations and other relevant groups where we can generate more sales of generic medicines and implement actions plans to cater to this accounts.
    • Makes recommendations in terms of product displays/merchandising
  • Staffing
    • Ensures complete training and development of store personnel
    • Communicate and delegate work in an appropriate manner
    • Holds every staff accountable for their performance and actions
    • Conducts regularly staff meeting
    • Provides accurate and timely evaluations and feedback
    • Effectively counsels and motivate staff on job-related matters
    • Addresses employee complaints, issues, claims in a timely manner
  • Loss and Inventory Control
    • Controls of cash and inventory loss through effective supervision
    • Reviews inventory counts as scheduled and resolved variances immediately
    • Maintains organized, clean and secure storage and selling areas
    • Follows proper receiving policies
    • Maintains inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock and overstock situations
    • Customer Service Orientation
    • Promotes the practice of excellent customer service through training and example
    • Ensures that patient counseling is actively practiced
    • Resolves customer complaints in a timely, professional manner
    • Interacts with customers each day by courteous greetings and prompt assistance
  • Image
    • Maintains store image standards each day
    • Ensures compliance of all employees to the company uniform policy
    • Presents self in a neat and professional manner
    • Ensures that store employees present themselves in a neat, and professional manner
  • Report Compliance
    • Complete all paper works on time
    • Makes all deposits on time and fax copies as necessary
    • Ensures accuracy of all paper works and reports
    • Performs other tasks as required by the job and/or the store organization
