Power Plant Operations & Maintenance Internship (OJT)  

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintenance Tasks:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks under the guidance of experienced maintenance personnel.
• Perform routine tasks to support the Maintenance Document Controller.
• Learn and apply preventive maintenance procedures on various machinery and systems.

Equipment Inspection:

• Participate in equipment inspections to identify potential issues.
• Learn to use inspection tools and document findings accurately.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety briefings and maintain a safe work environment.

Documentation

• Learn to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used.
• Assist in updating equipment logs and databases.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Seek guidance and support from experienced team members when needed.

Tool and Equipment Care:

• Learn proper usage, care, and storage of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a well-equipped work area.

Continuous Learning:

• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Provide timely updates on work progress and seek guidance as required.

Adherence to Policies:

• Follow company policies and guidelines related to maintenance activities.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to workplace rules.

Evaluation and Feedback:

• Regularly receive feedback on performance and areas for improvement.
• Engage in evaluation sessions to track progress and discuss learning objectives.

Mentorship:

• Collaborate with assigned mentors for guidance and support throughout the training program.
• Seek mentor feedback and actively participate in mentorship sessions.

Skills / Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• Willingness to take on new tasks and show proactive behavior.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and apply them effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team, share ideas, and contribute to group projects.
