Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing prompt and quality support for Maximo asset data collection and loading activities and providing general administrative support functions to the Asset Management team and Maximo core team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Aid the Maximo Core team in the updating of the following asset registry activities:

A. Review technical documents (e.g. PIDS, as-built drawings, and OEM manuals to capture essential asset information)

B. Prepares Asset Detail/Asset Attributes

  • Identify all the needed asset details: Serial number, installation date, useful life, specifications, etc.
  • Check availability of asset classification for the specifications: Create new classification if required, and Match asset with its corresponding classification

Responsible for preparing, mapping, and loading various data sets under AWM and IM modules of Maximo (e.g., asset priority, asset classification, spares, failure codes, etc.)

Provide project management and administrative support to Maximo project and AM team.

  • Provide progress feedback against project plan
  • Prepare progress/deviation reports on required reporting periods in accordance with templates for feedback and updating in MS Project plan or similar
  • Work with SPOCs to determine status of plan, assist in reporting and identify bottlenecks
  • Coordination with project team members and consultants for document approval routing/processing
  • Coordination with project team members and consultants for scheduling tasks
  • Resource planning and coordination with the site teams
  • Assist the AM Specialist in other tasks requiring administrative support

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Information Technology
  • Project management qualification an advantage
  • Preferred but not required: Engineering licensure exam certification
  • At least two (2) year experience in project coordination
  • At least one (1) year experience working in power plant setting (O&M) and with administrative, engineering work, or CMMS background is an advantage
