Job Description
Will be responsible for assisting in the medical benefit of employees and their dependents.
Medical Benefits and Reports
- Assists employees and their dependents with medical-related concerns. Refers them as necessary to health care providers and/or medical facilities.
- Assists in dispensing medicines, checks medicine stock level and requests for replenishment.
- Coordinates with health care providers as to processing of medical needs of employees and dependents.
- Assists in giving medical treatment and care to sick or injured employees and/or refer them to health care providers and/or medical facilities for further treatment when needed.
- Ensures that required laboratory tests and medical certificates of employees and dependents are filed in the 201 Medical File. Informs the Company Nurse of any abnormal result/s.
- Assists in the Family Welfare Programs and Health Programs for employees and their
- dependents, if applicable.
- Assists in the Annual Physical Exam (APE) preparation and implementation for regular employees. Files results after APE.
- Monitors Dental and Medical expenses of dependents. Notify employees whose dependents are about to exceed their allotted dental and medical benefits.
- Assist in updating the MedEx Program of employees and their dependents.
- Assists in pick-up of billings at accredited health care service providers.
- Processes request for payments and follow-up checks for payment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a Bachelor's degree holder in Nursing / Medical Technology / Pharmacy
- Must be keen and attentive to details
- With excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 1 vacant position available in La Trinidad, Benguet
