Job Description
The position holder is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and overseeing activities concerned with technical engineering support of the project.
- Overall management and decision-maker for all technical/design activities in the project.
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, interface directly with stakeholders, contractors, etc. on all technical aspects of the project including the management of change associated with the project work scope, contract terms or any subcontract contracts.
- Responsible for all necessary direction, definition, and coordination to ensure the technical quality and conformance with specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Prepare the engineering schedule, monitor, and issue reports on engineering progress.
- Initiate and lead multi-discipline design reviews.
- Develops and applies advanced engineering concepts and approaches to unique engineering problems.
- Performs any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in construction management, civil and electrical preferred with experience in substations design and construction. Power projects are a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical)
