Risk Finance Supervisor  

The position is responsible for the execution of the Risk Finance activities and
program providing overall risk-related support for all AP and BU sites and functions

• Ensuring that Risk Finance deliverables are complied with accurately and on-time, which includes providing assistance/coordination during the renewal of insurance programs and sending out reminders for timely submission of renewal information, claims documentation, and premium payments
• Review and reconciliation of insurance policy terms and invoices at binding to protect from errors that could cause gaps in coverage or incorrect premium costs
• Analysis of insurance and risk engineering reports
• Preparation of management reports
• Supports Risk Finance Manager in developing 1AP Risk Finance Policies and Guidelines and Procedures.
• Ensures review is done regularly and policies and procedures are updated as necessary
• Acts as specific POCs to escalate issues on risk finance management related programs and policies to steering committees.
• Ensures that Risk Finance/Insurance information is considered in the risk assessment and treatment of AP, CSU, BU, and Project Risks
• Works closely with or Provides guidance to AP process &/or project owners & BU
• Risk Team in identifying and assessing risks and in developing Risk Finance-related Treatment Strategies, where applicable
• Performs oversight and monitoring of implementation of key risk finance and insurance programs affecting AP CSU, BU, and Project Risks.
• Participates in risk related audits/assurance activities (internal and external) for AP

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• At least 3-5 years equivalent experience in riskmanagement, power industry and related fields
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering course
• Knowledge in insurance industry and markets
• Relevant Risk Management, Insurance or Business Continuity Management certification/trainings required
• Has good interpersonal skill in convincing users and process
  owners on the efficacy of the new / enhanced processes.
