Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • To lead in building a positive image for AB Heineken Philippines Inc. and its brands.
  • To build a positive reputation for AB Heineken Philippines, Inc. as an employer of choice.
  • To lead in sustainability campaigns and community engagement programs as part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • To lead in the continuing development and cascade of the Company’s Business Continuity and Crisis Management Program, and support crisis communications and response plans moving forward.

ncipal Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibility1: To build a positive image for AB Heineken Philippines, Inc. and its brands.

Tasks:

  1. Build on Heineken internationality and how it fits with the global Filipino.
  2. Build on Heineken quality message and how it resonates to its brands.
  3. Build relationships and network in key lifestyle and news media.
  4. Develop strategies, initiatives and content for corporate website and related assets.
  5. Develop social media strategy & programs to advance corporate messages to external stakeholders.
  6. Close working relations with other functions for alignment in promoting positive stories and mitigating risk of adverse stories.
  7. Represent the Company as its “beer ambassador” with the ability to build a positive beer culture in the Philippines
  8. Assist HR and Supply Chain in developing and implementing a brewery tour program for external partners.

Tasks:

  1. Assist the Managing Director and Corporate Affairs Director to create and deliver clear external engagement plan to build desired reputation for ABHP as an employer of choice.
  2. Develop strategies, initiatives and content for corporate website and related assets.
  3. Develop social media strategy and programs to advance corporate messages to the external environment.
  4. Intimate working knowledge of all business units to promote positive stories and mitigate risk of adverse stories.

Responsibility3: To lead in sustainability campaigns and community engagement programs as part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility

Tasks:

  1. Develop and implement CSR programs in the communities where our breweries operate.
  2. Develop and implement community programs to train and educate the lesser privileged.
  3. Develop the Story of Beer to showcase how the entry of ABHP into the Philippine market benefits local communities.
  4. Promote CSR activities of the Company as a responsible member of the community.

Responsibility4: To lead in the development and cascade of the Company’s Business Continuity and Crisis Management Program, and support crisis communications and response plans moving forward.

Tasks:

  1. Review and analysis of existing environment and current processes / procedures
  2. Identification of requirements for crisis management and business continuity
  3. Drafting and development of general policies, procedures and processes for business continuity and crisis management
  4. Drafting and development of policies, procedures and processes specific to product-related crisis, natural calamities and reputation
  5. Assist in the designation and training of relevant personnel who will be responsible for crisis management within the Company
  6. Assist the Managing Director and Corporate Affairs Director in handling crisis situations.

Responsibility5: Other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Graduate
  • At least 5 years work experience, preferably in Corporate Affairs.

Competencies/Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Principles of law
  • General management and administration skills
  • Judgment and problem solving
  • Good communication skills – oral and written

Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Office)
