About the Position
We are looking for a driven and extremely commercial Brand Manager to become part of our founding-team and play a vital role in shaping the business while managing a diverse portfolio of adapting a brand strategy for a company’s target market ; maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and manage a portfolio of products. You will be part of a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization, building your department from scratch. Based in Jakarta, you will be focused on the whole of Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Our Brand Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Developing Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term; to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of brands;
- Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media;
- Delivering internal and external presentations regarding new product introductions, marketing materials, business objective and communication strategy;
- Assisting with product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities;
- Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding;
- Managing the budget for advertising and promotional items;
- Competitor and customer insights analysis;
- Implementing the marketing plans by working with internal and external suppliers to deliver in a timely manner and on budget, including new product development & launch;
- Coordinating the development of communication materials such Above the line, below the line and in store;
- Have a passion for being in the field and on the move 24/7!
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- Solid academic background from top 10 university; who has passion for brand building and business management;
- A minimum of five years of work experience in a fast-paced work environment, experience in sales of consumer (health & beauty), FMCG, Retail, OTC products is preferred;
- Able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within an FMCG environment;
- Well-versed in market, consumer sensing and insights generation;
- Strong commercial awareness within sales & marketing;
- Solid digital experience, both in terms of digital media placement planning and execution as well as creative assets development for the brands;
- E-commerce knowledge and understanding is an added advantage;
- Demonstrated strong execution skills - 'getting-things-done' over a process driven mentality;
- High moral standards and personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the business;
- Able to work within an ambiguous and fast-paced environment;
- Strong feeling of responsibility;
