Job Description
Data Analyst interprets data and turns it into information which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions. It gathers data information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver multiple analytics work streams for diverse clients; both ongoing & ad-hoc
- Translate business needs and requirements of the client to technical specifications
- Perform Data Integration and Preparation
- Review and validate customer data as it is collected
- Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
- Prepare data for analysis and visualization/reporting
- Help clients define metrics and KPIs that answer their key business questions
- Create dashboards, visualizations, reports
- Design, build, test, productionize, and deploy solution
- Creating value from data by performing analytics and statistical techniques to identify insights, generate recommendations and Communicate data value to key stakeholders
- Develop and update technical documentation, and enable clients through knowledge sharing
Minimum Qualifications
A. Minimum Education
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Computer Science.
B. Minimum Experience/Training
- Experience in data modeling with proficient Excel skills
- Experience working in a data-rich environment
- Must have experience using Tableau
- Knowledge and experience of the following tools are a plus:
- SAS Language, PowerBI
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Excel, API for report embedding
