The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Performs all cashiering functions based on standard operating procedures.
- Finalize guest’s bill and endorse to the runner for delivery to the guest’s table.
- Accept and process payments in the POS.
- Issue acknowledgement receipt for down payments received.
- Issue official receipt for payments received.
- Monitor and oversee dropping of tips in the tip box.
- Run and prepare daily sales report and properly consolidate all cash and endorse to Finance Department according to guidelines and standard set by the company.
- Assists and relieves functions of the food servers, food runner and receptionists.
- In charge of takeout meals and orders of the guest.
- Count cash fund before and after breaks and operation to ensure correct and adequate amounts.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and tables with bill jacket.
- Issue comment cards together with the printed bill.
- Issue and endorse to the server the stamps registration.
- Monitor stocks of takeout boxes, foil, disposable spoons & forks and sauce cups.
- Monitor and order thermal paper.
- Ensure POS’ keys to the office with the supervisor / manager’s acknowledgement.
- Maintain clean and organized POS station to avoid loaded transaction, missed out statements etc.
- Update kitchens out of stock as well as bar’s out of stock items and update the servers as soon as possible.
- Other related tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, or Marketing.
- At least one year experience as a Cashier.
- Outgoing, conversationalist, and energetic.
- Willing to work in Pasig and San Juan
- Can start as soon as possible
