Job Description
Recording vital signs
Feeding patients according to their dietary needs
Maintain patients’ hygiene and change bedding
Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to Nurse or Doctor
Relieves duties of Nursing Aide staff that is on leave
Follows policies of QCGH Nursing service
Participates in hospital activities
Performs other related functions as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma with training in patient personal care, infection prevention, vital signs, communication, mental health, and other basic care.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great written and verbal communication
- Ability to carefully read and follow directions
- Flexibility in work duties and schedule
- Good teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move patients
- Good foundation of clinical skills and knowledge
