Job Description
- Conduct donor selection as per PRC safety standards and regulations
- Conduct physical examinations and pre blood donor counselling
- Provide support and care for donors throughout the donation process
- Provide post donation counselling as required
- Coordinate & supervise PRC staff and volunteers during mass blood collection programs
- Plan mass blood donation/collection programs including staff rostering and logistics
- Coordinate & supervise PRC staff and volunteers during mass blood donation/collection programs
- Ensure blood safety standards are maintained during mass blood donation/collection programs
- Deliver accurate reporting at conclusion of mass blood donation/collection programs
- Support PRC staff and dependants medical welfare
- Conduct pre-employment physical examination for PRC staff
- Conduct medical consultations and/or home visits for staff members
- Provide support to staff members during health issues
- Attend meetings and events as required representing the PRC Blood Centre
- Attend regular meetings and provide accurate updates regarding blood collection programs
- Build & maintain effective working relationships with Philippine Red Cross Staff, Volunteers & Volunteers
- Support Blood Director and/or Manager as required with reporting, medical missions, managing blood bank
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree (4 Year)
- Licensed Medical Practitioner
- PRC Blood Services Volunteer Physicians preferred or completion a Medical Technology course
- Coaching and management experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make decisions in-line with organizational goals and values
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Collaborates with team members to achieve shared outcomes
- Flexibility and a willingness to contribute outside standard office hours
