Job Description

  • Provide on-site preparation for the installation of machines. Prepare documentation needed for installation.
  • Provide on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of printing machines.
  • Perform hands-on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs.
  • Provide high-level technical support to external customers at their location.
  • Provide on-site training to the customers.
  • Interface with cross-functional work teams such as the customer care assistants, product management, marketing, and sales.
  • Develop Service Technical Documentation
  • Always maintain an updated case information in Netsuite.
  • Timely and professionally handle service calls and issues arising from the field service visits.
  • Complete and submit in a timely manner all required paperwork, soft copy FSR, etc.
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Misc. perform other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a hardware technical service engineer.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional technical knowledge: Able to understand and apply the knowledge learned from HP training, hands-on skills, and hands-on approach.
  • Computer Technology: Able to use current software and technology
  • Problem-solving skills: ability to identify problems and draw valid conclusions and be able to carry out a task, knowledgeable of methods/protocols to troubleshoot and test software installations.
  • Communication skills: able to communicate, in written and oral form detailed and technical engineering information. Writes clear, concise, and organized documents and reports. Able to coordinate and provide feedback/ status on customer-situation assignment to the supervisor. Ability to explain to customers issues effectively and explain appropriately the solutions.
  • With 5-8 years experience in handling supervisory position.
