Front End Programmer  

This position will play an integral role in developing functional and appealing web and mobile based applications. Your tasks will include:

• Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the products interface.
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements.
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate effectively with the product team and design team on mock-ups and prototypes.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
• Create reports and documents as needed.

As an ideal candidate, you must:

• Have a minimum of three (3) years working experience with the following:
  • JS/jQuery/CSS3/HTML5 (or similar scripting tool)
  • Angular.js / Ember.js / Backbone
  • data exchange between application layers via JSON XML
  • various responsive designs
• Knowledge on the following is an advantage:
  • Socket.IO
  • Server-side language Java EE
• Have experience in gathering business requirements, developing project schedules and documenting architectural solutions & codes.
• Be a team player in a highly collaborative environment.
• Be passionate about creating new designs & elegant interfaces, learning, and tackling new and exciting technical challenges.
• Have a great attention to detail with high level of analytical skills.
• Be able to manage time properly, turns in quality work on time and works with minimum supervision.
• Feel comfortable with finding better ways to do things and be able to track everything you do.
• Feel comfortable in writing and speaking the English language.
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent.
